Starbucks Commits to Filtering Obscene Content

Starbucks Corporation has followed through on their public commitment to filter pornography and child pornography from their WiFi, Enough Is Enough (EIE) announced on Monday.

Nearly 8,500 company-owned stores will now be blocking access to obscene content following a petition signed by tens of thousands of customers over the course of the last five years. This is a huge victory for families and children visiting the establishment. EIE hopes that this commitment from Starbucks, as well as a similar commitment from McDonald’s, will encourage other major corporations to follow suit in filtering WiFi for the safety of children and families.
