RaeLynn, a country artist who rose to fame as a quarter-finalist in the second season of The Voice, recently released a song from her upcoming album that is inspired by the story of her mother's heroic choice to choose life for her.
The song, "She Chose Me" will be on RaeLynn's upcoming album, Baytown. The chorus goes, "She could have chosen one quick fix to get her out of one big mess. She could have tied a different ribbon to the ending of the story, coulda kept her secret, gotten out before it changed her life. She could've changed her mind and changed everything. But she chose me."
