Jay goes on to express, through a poem, the importance of not compromising and waiting for someone willing to fight for you. She explains the beauty of saying no with the knowledge that a yes will someday come.
"Even when those voices in the back of your head are whispering, you won't meet anyone who treats you better than this - stay single. Until you meet the one who's going to squash all your doubts in a heartbeat."
