This year has been an interesting year to get married. Around the world, couples have been postponing or downsizing their weddings due to COVID concerns and local restrictions.
While it has been stressful and a less than the ideal wedding-planning scenario, it has also shed light on an important truth about weddings and marriage. Much work and effort goes into your wedding, but much more effort goes into your marriage. As important as weddings are, a wedding is a day and a marriage is a lifetime.
As weddings are getting drastically altered by the pandemic, couples are realizing that their wedding was never about the grand party but rather about the covenant of a life together.
