ComCast (also known as Xfinity) Cable recently made the decision to cut all ties with MindGeek, scrubbing them from their services. MindGeek is the parent company to exploitative pornography giant, PornHub.
National Center on Sexual Exploitation (NCOSE) has been asking ComCast to reconsider their connections with MindGeek for a long time. In an email response to NCOSE, a ComCast representative said that they were growing deeply concerned over reports of unlawful practices by MindGeek, including the exploitation of minors on their sites. As a result, Comcast decided to drop all MindGeek content from their systems, removing all material available to customers, even for on-demand content.
